Constipation and how to treat constipation

Constipation, costiveness, or irregularity, is a condition of the digestive system in which a person (or animal) experiences hard feces that are difficult to expel. This usually happens because the colon absorbs too much water from the food. If the food moves through the gastro-intestinal tract too slowly, the colon may absorb too much water, resulting in feces that are dry and hard. Defecation may be extremely painful, and in severe cases (fecal impaction) lead to symptoms of bowel obstruction. The term obstipation is used for severe constipation that prevents passage of both stools and gas. Causes of constipation may be dietary, hormonal, anatomical, a side effect of medications (e.g. some opiates), or an illness or disorder. Treatments consist of changes in dietary and exercise habits, the use of laxatives, and other medical interventions depending on the underlying cause.

How to treat constipation:
1) Drink more water
2) Try drinking green tea, fruit juices.
3) Exercise more.
4) Eat more fibre like fruits and vegetables.

My Best Friend Cum God Bro Andy has colon cancer

Andy has been a very good friend to me yet at the age of 29 he has gotten colon cancer at early stage of stage 4. It came as a sudden news as we did not expect it to happen when he just underwent operation of colon recently due to an intake of the usual hot milo drink. Doctor just said that he has only 2 yrs of life span.

Guess it all started with the habit of not drinking a lot of water all throughout this life . Having the bad habit of not drinking water actually caused his colon could not actually move the bowels throughout the colon thus having the bowels stuck onto his colon. The operation was to remove the stucked bowels that were on his colon.

He is now currently going thru chemotherapy and the hefty medical bills and caring for his aged mother were his concerns. Thus i am offering portions of my services to help him to tide through these difficult times of his. Fruit juice recipe to help to reduce acne

Chinese pear and bitter gourd juice

Ingredients : 1/2 bitter gourd, 1 big chinese pear , 2 ice cubes

Preparation: Just rinse and seed the bitter gourd into pieces and also rinse, peel and core the pear into small pieces. Put the bitter gourd and pear into juicer. Pour the juice into a serving glass. Add the ice cubes and serve.

Half a year has gone past for the year 2008

Half a year has gone past for the year 2008 . Perhaps you guys should start re-evaluating your current skin condition and start to recall back what have you been eating the past half a year.
Before you start recalling back on your diet for the past half a year , i would appreciate if you guys out there take time to mediate for about half an hour.

The mediation is to also help you to calm yourself down and to start carefully plan the next half a year's diet. This later half of the year's diet will also help in the skin condition that you are going to have.

Perhaps starting the week with a short detox stint would be great as it would flush out at least the toxins for the past few months. Menu plan for the detox will be shortly provided within the week.
