Questionaire on how satisfied are you with life ?

Yesterday, it was the first time I went for a psychology talk outside of school. To me, the venue was a new place. I like that environment very much. The place was called the hub.

Over there,I met a school mate and got to know a new friend, Domina.

If some of you could recall , sometime back earlier this year  I posted a you tube clip on the being happy. Being happy is not just a state of mind , it also deals with the choice that you make.

Here is a list of questions that you can do to determine how satisfied with life you are.
  1. In most ways, my life is close to my ideal.
  2. The conditions of my life is excellent
  3. I am completely satisified with my life
  4. So far I have gotten the most important things I want in life
  5. If I could live my life over, I would change nothing.
Rate these questions betweeen 1- 7 with 1 as strongly disagree and 7 being strongly agree
Please divide your total score by 5 to determine ur satisifaction level.

Warning about wasabi

WASABI Is Kidney & Liver-Killer
Also found the following info in a Japan-guide website.

Wasabi is Japanese horseradish. It is most famous in the form of a green paste used as condiment for sashimi (raw seafood) and sushi.
However, wasabi is also used for many other Japanese dishes.
Wasabi is a root vegetable that is grated into a green paste. In supermarkets, wasabi is widely available as a paste or in powder form.
Wasabi powder has to be mixed with water to become a paste.
Wasabi has a strong, hot flavour which dissipates within a few seconds and leaves no burning aftertaste in one's mouth.

Many "wasabi" powder and paste products that are available in supermarkets (and even some restaurants) contain only very little or no real wasabi at all and are made of coloured horseradish instead. This is due to the fact that cultivation of real wasabi is relatively difficult and expensive.

WASABI generally is : 90% chemical products!
The WASABI generally used is a Kidney & Liver-Killer contains 90% harmful chemical products! The real WASABI is in huge demand. Since the raw WASABI plant is in shortage and the labor costs to make WASABI is very high, the WASABI generally is : 90% chemical products!

Timing for repairing of our organs

Evening at 9 - 11pm : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (de-toxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on her health.

Evening at 11pm - 1am : The de-toxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state. Early morning 1 - 3am : de-toxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 3 - 5am : de-toxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the de-toxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

Morning 4- 6am: must be in deep sleep so that the short term memory will go into the long term memory.

Morning 5 - 7am : de-toxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 - 9am : Absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 -10am rather than no meal at all. Sleeping so late and waking up too

A forwarded email warning about the dangers of china mushrooms

I was in China recently and we went to a few "mushrooms steamboat " restaurants where we can select all different kinds of mushrooms to put into our steamboat. It was very good.

The waiters in ALL such restaurants told us NOT to eat until the soup has been boiling for at least 12 to 15 mins.

In the first restaurant, we were very hungry , so we did not bother to wait for 12 mins and started to dish out our mushrooms from the steamboat when the waiter ran over quickly to our table to stop us from eating. Every restuarant gave us very stern warning that we CANNOT eat until it is 15 mins of continuous boiling.

Apparently, they had to kill all the bacteria in the mushrooms. I was thinking maybe it is toxic.

Sulfide 硫化has the potential to cause allergies, mostly asthmatic. 10% of asthma cases are cause by an allergy to sulfides. It is a preservative, but strictly regulated.

It has been found that Mushrooms from China contain carbon disulfide二硫化碳 in them. Carbon disulfide is a pesticide/fungicide with acceptable/legal residue levels defined for fresh/dried foods.
Always discard the soak liquid and do not use it in the cooking process.

China's regulations are questionable.

Most of the mushrooms on the market are from China, and are contaminated with chemicals which are soluble in water. Discard the water that you soak the dried mushrooms in to soften.
According to Mr. L.W. Chan of the Health Department (USA), most mushrooms are smuggled into the country from China.

The recent opening of traffic between China and Taiwan made it difficult for the government to control these illegal activities.
It is better to use Taiwanese mushrooms or Japanese Shiitake Mushrooms.

Soak them in water before cooking and the water used to soak the mushrooms must be thrown away.

Mr. Chan continued to say that it is customary and a common practice for people to cook the mushrooms with the water saved from soaking. This habit should stop, because most fertilizers used in farming are water soluble.
According to tests in the past, it was known that mushrooms were contaminated by fertilizer.
Mushrooms contain sulfur and when mixed in with fertilizer, carbonate tests showed a 20% higher reading on carbon disulfide which made it difficult to obtain a reliable reading on results.

Dangerous food import bar coding alert

The whole world is scared of China made 'black hearted goods'. Can you differentiate which one is made in the USA , Philippines , Taiwan or China ? For your Information ... the first 3 digits of the barcode is the country code wherein the product was made. Sample: all barcodes that start with 690.691.692 until 695 are all MADE IN CHINA. 471 is Made in Taiwan

This is our human right to know, but the government and related department never educate the public, therefore we have to RESCUE ourselves. Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products 'made in china', so they don't show from which country it is made.
However, you may now refer to the barcode, remember if the first 3 digits is 690 to 695, then it is Made in China .
00 ~ 13 USA & CANADA
30 ~ 37 FRANCE
40 ~ 44 GERMANY
49 ~ JAPAN
50 ~ UK
57 ~ Denmark
64 ~ Finland
76 ~ Switzerland and Lienchtenstein
628 ~ Saudi-Arabien
629 ~ United Arab Emirates
740 ~ 745 - Central America
All 480 Codes are Made in the Philippines.
Now read on below for specifics on goods from China to protect yourself, your family, and your friends – as I am trying to do.
This is sickening but it is an alert to read labels and always buy fresh when you can.

DO NOT BUY FOOD PROCESSED IN CHINA , HONG KONG , VIETNAM AND THAILAND !!! no food inspection!!!

In the midst of my exams

Hi people out there ,

I am still in the midst of preparing my operations management exams for next mon which is my final paper of this semster. So many topics to cover but then thank God this is more of a calculations paper.

I now realized that why people at the lowest level in the hierarchy in the organization are being so called 'bullied' by the management level cos it is due to making enough challenges for people at the lowest level to feel challenged enough just because of this thing called Just in time approach.

I am doing my studying at my school library and I found 2 new friends. One is called Ann , another is called 老师. Hoping for that today i will be able to complete 11 chapters in 9 hours. Then tomorrow can start practicing calculations. Sunday to do memorization work.

Health tips for the working class adults

Let's just cover something very simple health tips for the working class adults. Having a healthy body at work not only increases your productivity but also reduces the amount of stress that your body is going to get throughout the week.

Tip 1: Drink more fruit juice

By drinking more fruit juice , it will help you to increase the number of anti-oxidants that will help you to fight against the free radicals aka stress or viruses like flu & etc. However, if in the event you are a diabetic patient I would suggest that you take minimum amount of fruits . Diabetic patients are not allowed to take fruit juice due to high sugar content.

Fruits that I recommend for diabetic patients would be a slice of apple or guava.

Tip 2: Sleep less in air conditioned room

If you are sick, it is best that you check on the air condition system if it is dusty 'cos it is not healthy to breathe in dusty air when you are on the mode of recovery or just fully recovered from the illness.

Tip 3: Eat less of the savoury food and adopt the habit of taking slightly bland food

Even for the different kind of  savoury food when we compare between the meat dishes and the vegetable dishes, the meat dishes will take longer to digest. It will affects the digestive system. So for the sake of your digestive system , try to take in more fibre to detox.

 Tip 4: Stretch

If your working hours are a bit tad long , it is best to do some stretching at the desk. Best to do some stretching once you wake up, it will help in the blood circulation and with that it will help u to keep a healthy body.
